A Community Caring for Life (ACCL) is an archdiocesan
initiative encouraging parishes to reach out to
others who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy, family
issue or challenging need. At St. Joseph’s, we embrace
our Church’s teaching on the sanctity and dignity of all human
life. Our faith impels us to pray and work to create
and support a community caring for life here at St. Joseph’s,
as well as the broader community and country in
which we live. We promote both communal and individual
prayer for a culture of life.
We encourage and provide education on life issues.
We provide practical and financial support for those
facing crisis life situations. In the broader community, we
pray, promote and work for legal and cultural respect for
human life from creation to natural death All of these areas
allow us to witness to the compassion and love of Christ to
those in need.
